Akron Pianist Kofi Boakye wins 1st at “Amateur Night At The Apollo”, advances to 2nd Round

MISSION. ACCOMPLISHED.

In a star-studded night filled with Celebrities in the likes of Hosts Nick Cannon & Capone Lee, one star shined the brightest. The Other Kid from Akron has done it again—winning 1st Place in his return back to “Amateur Night At The Apollo”; the Theater’s first show back since the pandemic. In a sold-out crowd of 1500+ in attendance, Kofi was no stranger to the big lights.
